I think what I like most about your music is that it almost always sounds like the theme you set for it. Tropical island sky at sunset? Christmas in a village? Streets at midnight? Yep - they really do be sounding like that (✿◠‿◠)

Sometimes it’s completely accidental. Such as Midnight Vibrancies, that song really was purely experimental with EQ, and the rest just came to me. It was only towards the end I got the idea of a Midnight Street. In fact, I actually think I made the cover first, which may have made some sort of subconscious inspiration. But songs such as Christmas in Basylton and this one are most definitely put after a certain theme, and I’m glad I’m able to get that form! Thanks for the support man, it’s always appreciated

I like it!
The fact most of your feedback is about EQ/mix etc. means everything else is solid. Like with all music making, it'll just take more experimentation and practice to master (pun intended).
Love your VGM style as always, the ambience in this one is particularly cool!
I agree, I seriously need to work on the EQ, but I’m sure it’ll make more sense eventually! I really just wanna learn more about music, cause staying in your comfort zone is one of the seven deadly “synths”… get it? ;)
I just realized I meant to credit you and Steampianist as inspiration since you guys taught me some tips on using EQ, which lead to this abomination. Thank you so much for your kind words :D
Playing your own live bass in a DnB track during this day and age is a huge flex.
Love the chopping of the breaks, making them go BZZT. Totally not gonna keep that idea for later...
See, and I thought it was lazy! Because I didn't find and chop someone else's bass LOL
Do steal my idea. I had so much fun on those breaks, I extended it to chopping the rest of the track!
Love this - right up my alley. That looping sample is really cool, along with the bass it makes the track sound almost French House(?) for a bit. So interesting to hear the cowbell used melodically in a... 'non-phonk' application.
Great work as always :)
You're right on. I was inspired by some old French house tracks as I was producing, namely Alors on Danse. The sample is just a brass patch I found on the Proteus. I picked a key, found the tempo, and went with it
So very very good, you seem to be extremely underrated and well deserving of many more views.
The mixing is excellent by the way.
So many great changes of rhythm and mood throughout - loved the little bit of ambience at the end. That sort of acid-ish synth really does give it a spooky feel.
Great stuff!
Thanks so much! I did not expect you to check out my stuff! If you want truly good stuff (according to @Taintedlogic), check my song ZethraSphere!
Piano <3
I, myself, are extremely jealous of your skill with piano-based melodies.
However, if you were to mix it up at some point, you could make your saw pads become more dominant at some point during the song.
Perhaps also some more variation into higher octaves with the piano as well and perhaps more reverb?
But all things considered, very good job.
Yep
Yeah, it's stuck in my head now, thanks...
I liked this one, the soft bassline and piano-ish thing worked well :P
No problem, it happened to me too. Now I'm afraid I'll never get it out.
As for the piano thing, it's a celeste synthesizer, if you're interested.
Thanks for the review! =3
Naice
So there's boring ambient and good ambient, this one's neither, it's great ambient.
Usually I can't sit through a whole one of these, but this was really good.
I reckon the transitions went well though, not too abrupt, and yeah, I could listen to this for hours :P
Haha, thanks. I really appreciate it. The nostalgia effect was what I was going for. I'm glad I got it. =D
2.72? Wtf
This is a fantastic remix, I don't know what it was doing with only a 2.72 score.
